Biography
Born and raised in San Diego. I’m an Eagle Scout and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Art with a minor in Business Administration
History with RTP
I started working for Dennis Pedrotti at his original Round Table in Rancho Bernardo in 1977 while in High School. I met my future wife Michelle there in 1978. I later got into management while in college and in 1987 became the store manager of the Escondido Round Table. In 1993 my dad, Bob Sr., and my wife Michelle and I became owners of that store. In 1999 we opened our second store, a Delivery – Carryout store, as a satellite location in support of our main store.
I’ve previously served on the board and have been on the Marketing Committee for the last 3 years.
Fun Facts
I attended a wedding last year of one of my managers and another employee (there have been many), and among the crowd celebrating the wedding were about 25 current and former employees. Even the pastor was a current employee. I felt like the Godfather.
Family: My wife Michelle and I have 2 sons, David and Michael. Bothe of whom have worked for me in the past. Sadly, Michelle passed away from cancer in 2015.
Hobbies: Music and Barbeque. I’m a BBQ fanatic and grill about 4 times a week, year round. Combined with listening to music (and a few beers) it’s a great way to relax and unwind.
Favorite Team or Sport: The San Diego Padres

What do you like best about being an RTP Franchisee? I like the friendships I’ve developed with other franchisees and vendors over the years. As well as some from RTFC as well.
What is favorite RTP pizza? Pepperoni & Sausage (an 8-3 for you old timers).
What is your favorite topping? Pepperoni
What is favorite location to dine-in? Besides my own I sure miss that original store in Rancho Bernardo. It was very tavern-like.
What’s Best About the RTOA? It’s such a selfless organization looking out for all of our best interests.
What do you like best about attending the RTOA Convention? Unfortunately it’s been a while since I’ve been able to attend one, but when we’re together we all sure know how to have fun.
